Botanical Description
A crown jewel for advanced aroid collections, Monstera obliqua (Peru form) is celebrated for delicate, paper-thin foliage with extreme fenestrations, where openings can occupy more surface area than the leaf blade. This exact rooted top cutting has two mature, strongly fenestrated leaves, an active growth point, and an established rooted base. It is currently growing in a 6-inch nursery pot; the container size is provided for transparency and is not used as the plant’s maturity grade. What you receive: The exact potted plant shown in the first product photos. The climbing foliage close-ups show the mature growth potential of the source plant and are included for reference; they are not the plant being shipped. Light: Requires soft to moderately bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun, which can scorch the delicate leaf tissue. Water: Keep the growing medium consistently and evenly moist. Never allow the root zone to dry completely, but avoid prolonged waterlogging. Because the container is generous for the current plant size, check moisture below the surface before watering. Soil: A chunky, airy, fast-draining epiphytic mix containing orchid bark, high-grade perlite, and sphagnum moss for strong root aeration.
